This is just a quick post to show you a photo of the new clamps I am using to assist in tensioning the backing during Basting, these "Envelope Clips" as described by one seller are fantastic to hold the backing in place and allow for easier tension adjustment. I have also found that I do not need to fully pin the Fabric Pinning Panels in place if I use clamps/clips.These clips are the best I have found to date, and unlike the others I have used these ones can be used on the lower bar when it is in it's lowest position (on the floor).
I purchased mine from a Stationary Store, I have tried two sizes 75mm and 63mm, both work well on the lap size quilts, I have yet to try them on a Queen size.I hope you find them helpful - I know I have!
